Freshers Day - 6th January 2023 

School of Agricultural sciences, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University organized  ‘Freshers Day' on 6th January 2023 to welcome the new batch (2023) of students. The Pro chancellor of the university Smt. Ananthalakshmi Kathiravan delivered the presidential address. She stressed on the importance of farming and farmers making references from Thirukkural. Dr. C. K. Ranjan offered felicitation by mentioning valuable information about the use of technology in Agriculture, farming, communication skills. Dr. M. Ravichandran, Dean, School of Agricultural sciences marked the importance of agricultural sector, its value and scope. He urged the students to be responsible and stressed on the importance of holistic development. The Registrar of the university Dr. M. Ravichandran, Dr. V. Sekar, Dean Planning & Development, Deans and Associate Deans of various schools, faculty, staff, parents, and students were present. Dr. J. Pathma. Associate Dean, Students Welfare proposed the vote of thanks.
