Recent Innovations on Internet of Things

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, School of Engineering and Technology organized a one-day Lecture on “Recent Innovations on Internet of Things “on 03rd January  2023  in Lecturer Hall-2, DSU. The lecture focused on Introduction about IoT and Machine Learning, Deep Learning and IoT, Augmented Reality(AR) and Virtual Reality(VR), Applications of Hybrid IoT and Node MCU updates to Google sheets. The welcome address by Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean School of Engineering and Technology. The dignitaries on the dais is Dr. C.Sankar Ram , Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Anna University, BIT Campus, Tiruchirappalli. Internet of Things is a new revolution of the Internet. A world where the real, digital and the virtual are converging to create smart environments that make energy, transport, cities and many other areas more intelligent. A device become a smart device is called IOT. Now a days there are many androids and server-based application. The expert mainly focused on sensor data upload to google sheets through Node MCU. This concept was clearly explained by the following steps

1. Set Up Node MCU for Arduino IDE
2. Setting Up Google Sheets
3. Deploy the Code into google sheets

 The vote of thanks is proposed by Dr. R.Ramkumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology. Second year students and 10 Faculties have attended the program.
