Debate Club Inauguration and Invited Lecture

The inauguration of English Debate Club and the Invited Lecture from The School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Trichy - 621 112 was organized on 28/12/2022 (Wednesday). The participants of the inauguration function were the Club members and the I Year Students. The inauguration function was started with Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu which was followed by the Welcome Address given Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University.

After lighting the lamp the Club has been inaugurated by the Chief Guest along the Club Secretary and Organizing Committee members and the Club Coordinators Ms. R. Shobia & Ms. A. Keerthana on stage.

Our Chief Guest of the Dr. R. Kannan, Associate Professor, Department of Languages, Hindustan Institute of Technology, Chennai, delivered his special lecture on “Personality Development” the elements from his speech are: What is Personality, Determinants of Personality, Importance of Personality, Tips for improving personality, knowing and analyzing oneself, body language, time management, positivity, planning, confidence boosting etc.  The session went on with lively discussion among the students.

Later 2 of our students gave their feedback. Our dean sir also conveyed his observations and suggestions.

Finally, the “Vote of Thanks” was given by the organizing secretary Ms. R. Shobia, Associate Professor of English, SET, DSU. The Inauguration function came to an end with the “National Anthem”
