Anti-ragging Awareness Rally on 14.08.2025
On 14th August 2025, the School of Pharmacy organized an Anti-Ragging Awareness Rally to sensitize students and the community about the importance of fostering a ragging-free and supportive learning environment. The rally was held as part of the institution’s ongoing commitment to uphold student safety, dignity, and mutual respect on campus.
The event began with an address by the faculty coordinators, who highlighted the legal consequences of ragging, the role of students in prevention, and the need to cultivate a culture of empathy and responsibility. Following this, pharmacy students actively participated in the rally, holding placards, banners, and posters with impactful slogans that conveyed strong messages against ragging and promoted harmony among peers.
The rally covered the major areas around the campus, spreading awareness not only among students but also among the local community. The participants raised slogans in unison, reinforcing the institution’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and emphasizing the message of “Say No to Ragging, Yes to Friendship and Respect.”
Faculty members and student volunteers coordinated the event seamlessly, ensuring enthusiastic involvement and orderly participation. The rally concluded with a pledge taken by all participants to stand united against ragging and to contribute towards maintaining a safe and inclusive educational environment.
The Anti-Ragging Awareness Rally served as a meaningful step in educating young minds and reinforcing the values of respect, equality, and mutual support within the School of Pharmacy.
