International Drug Abuse Day & Illicit Trafficking - 26 June 2024
The School of Pharmacy, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University hosted a significant event for “International Drug Abuse Day and Illicit Trafficking” under the aegis of "Drug Information Club" on June 26, 2024 at Lecture Hall 2 Academic block, DSU.
Students presented their ideas on drug abuse and trafficking through E-Poster Presentations. This approach likely allowed for sharing innovative approaches and preventative measures to combat these issues effectively. Also, E-Pledge for students through https://pledge.mygov.in/fightagainstdrugabuse/ and certificates were downloaded. For E-poster presentation prizes were distributed based on their poster and presentation.
The program successfully achieved its goal of promoting awareness and fostering discussions on drug abuse and trafficking. Participants gained valuable insights into innovative approaches for prevention and the importance of investing in proactive measures. This outlines the key aspects and outcomes of the drug abuse program conducted at the School of Pharmacy, emphasizing its impact in addressing these critical societal issues. The event was organised and successfully completed by Mr. S. Sardar Khan and Mrs. R. Saratha, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmacy, DSU.
