The School of Engineering and Technology hosted a thought-provoking invited talk on "Universal Human Values Self-Assessment and Dream to Success." on 24 th April, 2024. This provided an insightful exploration into the importance of self-assessment and the pursuit of success through universal human values. Renowned academic and esteemed speaker, Dr. P. Bhaskaran, Professor and Head of the Department of Management Studies at Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology, Kalitheerthalkuppam, Puducherry, delivered an engaging lecture on the topic. Drawing from his wealth of experience in management studies, Dr. Bhaskaran offered invaluable perspectives on the role of universal human values in personal and professional development.

Dr. C.K. Ranjan, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Dhanasekaran Devaraj, Registrar, served as the program advisors. Their guidance and support contributed to the success of the event and underscored the university's commitment to fostering a culture of self-reflection and growth among its students and faculty. The event was meticulously organized by Dr. R. Shobia and Mr. D. Shiyam Ganesh, faculty coordinators, who ensured the seamless execution of the program. Their dedication and coordination were instrumental in creating a conducive environment for learning and introspection. Additionally, Dr. Helen Sinthiya, the Universal Human Values (UHV) Coordinator, played a pivotal role in integrating the principles of UHV into the event, enriching the experience for participants.

Dr. Bhaskaran emphasized the importance of aligning personal aspirations with universal human values to achieve holistic success in both professional and personal endeavours.
