Lamp Fest - 07 March 2K24
Lamp Fest 2K24, was a beacon of inspiration and promise for our aspiring healthcare professionals. The event was hosted by the esteemed Srinivasan Institute of Nursing and Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University College of Nursing, this event marks a heartfelt induction into the noble field of nursing.
We were honoured to welcome Dr. S. Nehru, MD, Dean of KAPV Government Medical College, Trichy, who graced the event as the Chief Guest, alongside Dr. C.K Ranjan, Vice-Chancellor and Dr. D. Dhanasekaran, Registrar. Under the guidance of Prof. Pechiammal, Dean, Paramedical Sciences, the event commenced with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing the enlightening journey ahead for our students as they strive for nursing excellence. This ceremony was a homage to Florence Nightingale, encapsulating the spirit of compassionate care and dedication.
Moreover, the students took the Florence Nightingale Pledge, affirming their commitment to uphold the highest standards of nursing ethics and practice. Lamp Fest 2K24 embodies a warm embrace, a guiding light, and a promise of a fulfilling journey for our aspiring nurses. It reflects our university's dedication to providing a nurturing environment where students can flourish and make meaningful contributions to the healthcare community.
