National Energy Conservation Day - 14th December 2023

The National Energy Conservation Day (NECD)' 2023 celebration was organized by School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Samayapuram, Trichy - 621 112 in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 14.12.23 (Thursday). The participants were from School of Engineering and Technology. This NEC Day celebration started up with THAMIZH THAI VAZHTHU, followed by Dr. C. Suresh, Professor, Department of EEE, School of Engineering and Technology has delivered his welcome address and felicitation by Dr. V. Raju, Associate Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Tiruchirappalli.

Our Chief Guest of the day Dr. P. Anbalagan, Professor & Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, UCE, BIT Campus, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli has showcased the Energy Efficiency, INDIAN Power Grid Glance, Energy Statistics, Importance of Energy Conservation, Green Energy - Achievements and some Case Study. This day was celebrated to raise the awareness regarding the conservation of energy as it is the best way to have a greener and brighter future.

Finally, the Vote of Thanks was given by the organizing secretary Dr. M. Lakshmi, Associate Professor, EEE, School of Engineering and Technology. The Celebration was ended up with NATIONAL ANTHEM.
