On 30.11.2023, the School of Engineering and Technology under Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University proudly celebrated National Computer Security Day, a remarkable occasion dedicated to fostering awareness and understanding of the critical issues surrounding cyber security. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by the esteemed Club President, Bomana Sudarshan , who set the tone for the day by expressing gratitude for the collective effort to organize an event of such significance. Following this, Dr. Sanjay Singh, the Dean of Engineering and Technology, graced the occasion with his presence and felicitated the gathering, emphasizing the importance of cybersecurity in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

The audience was then treated to enlightening speeches by Dr.V. Raju and Dr.G.Sasikumar the Associate Dean, who shared profound insights into the current trends in cybersecurity. Their words resonated with the audience, highlighting the ever-growing need for vigilance and adaptability in the face of emerging threats.

A distinguished guest speaker, Dr. C. Ramasamy Sankar Ram, Assistant Professor at Anna University Trichy, captivated the audience with his expertise. In the morning session, he delivered a compelling speech on "Typical Impact Assessments in Cyber Security," shedding light on the intricacies of safeguarding digital landscapes. His address left the attendees with a deeper understanding of the challenges and responsibilities inherent in the realm of cybersecurity.

The afternoon session saw a vibrant display of technical events, showcasing the talents and innovation of the students. The stage was graced by the presence of Dr.G. Sasikumar Associate Dean, and the Head of the Department, who awarded the deserving winners for their outstanding contributions.
