National Energy Conservation Day 2022

The National Energy Conservation Day (NEC)’ 2022 celebration was organized by School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Samayapuram, Trichy – 621 112 in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 14.12.22 (Wednesday). The participants were from Second year and First year of School of Engineering and Technology. This NEC Day celebration started up with THAMIZH THAI VAZHTHU, followed by Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology has delivered his welcome Address, Felicitation by Dr. V. Sekar, IIC President & Dean-Planning and Development.

Our Chief Guest of the day Mr. Nanda Kishore Ravichandran, Manager, Vestas, Global siting Center, Chennai has showcased the utilization of renewable energy sources like wind and solar, energy efficiency and also about importance of energy conservation. This day was celebrated to raise the awareness regarding the conservation of energy as it is the best way to have a greener and brighter future.

Finally, the Vote of Thanks was given by the organizing secretary Dr. M. Lakshmi, Associate Professor, EEE, School of Engineering and Technology. The Celebration was ended up with NATIONAL ANTHEM.
