The Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, School of Engineering and Technology's Robotics Club was created with the objective of bringing students together in a learning environment and providing them with a venue to foster their interest in robotics. The club teaches countless number of interpersonal skills vital in daily life, from team-building to cooperation, from perseverance to sincerity. The club offers much more than only technical improvement to its members.

The inauguration started at 11 a.m. with “Tamilthaivazthu” followed by the lighting of the lamp, and Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, delivered the inaugural speech, commenting that students must identify their areas of interest and pursue it by involving themselves in such technical club activities in acquiring knowledge on emerging technologies, and praised the event coordinators for taking steps to form the Robotics club.
Dr. Ravichandran Doraiswamy, Dean of Students' Welfare at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, gave a motivational address to students and discussed the significance of joining the robotics club. The following is a synopsis of the speech.
‘Joining the robotics club is the ideal method to learn about new technologies and lay the groundwork for a future job in the IT industry. You have the opportunity to prepare yourself for the most promising positions of the future, given the rapid rate at which this industry is developing.’
