Event Instructions

• • The competition is open to students of recognised colleges / universities only.
  • Each team must consist of maximum 6 members (including director and actors).
  • One participant can be part of only one team.
  • The short film must be shot only inside the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU), Samayapuram campus.
  • The short film duration must be 8 to 15 minutes
    (including opening and end credits).

  Language

  • The film can be in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam or English.
  • Subtitles in English are compulsory for non-English films.

  Originality & Copyright

  • The short film must be original and made by the team.
  • The film must not be copied or adapted from movies, web series or existing scripts.
  • Background music, images and sound effects must be:
    • original, or
    • copyright-free, or
    • properly credited.

  Content Restrictions

  • Films should not contain:
    • offensive content,
    • political propaganda,
    • religious hatred, abusive or obscene visuals
    • The organisers reserve the right to reject any entry violating these norms

  Screening Format

  • The submitted film will be screened in the auditorium as received.
  • Participants must ensure that the video and audio quality is clear.
